Troodos ski season starts January and finishes end of March, we actually start our Sled Dogs Snowskates lessons and fun as soon as the first snow falls normally around December. We snowskate at the highest point of the Troodos mountains, Mount Olympus and Chionistra, 1,952 meters (6,404 ft) above sea level offers incredible views and exciting downhill ski slopes, you really are on top of the island! Skiing in Troodos is suitable for snowskate beginners and experts on the four different slopes, there are two on the North Side and two in Sun Valley. Aphrodite and Hera are for the beginners, Hermes (intermediate) and Dias 'Zeus' for the advanced skiers. We will soon be organising the first ever Sled Dogs Snowskates skiing competition at the Zeus slopes.
